People sing "MeÄ‘imurska popevka” acappela. Songs are about sad love. Unique rhythm marks old singed songs and dance melodies. Fairytale songs are marking a mythical motive. MeÄ‘imurska popevka is on UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list.
