Asinou Primary School was created in 2008 and united the schools of nearby communities (villages of Nikitari, Vyzakia, Potami, Kannavia and Agios Georgios Kaukalou). The school provides schooling for children from 1st to 6th year and has and a unit for children with special needs. For the year 2018- 2019 the school is composed of 12 teachers and 87 pupils.

Our school participated in competitions and has  been distinguished in some (2nd place in the “Technology and Innovation in Education” (TEKE 2016-2017), 3rd place in “Students in Research” (MERA 2015-2016) and 2nd praise in “ Students in Research” (MERA 2015-2016). The previous year ( 2017 -2018) has taken the 1st place in “Students in Research” (MERA) and the 2nd place in the “Technology and Innovation in Education”(TEKE).
